SLAM DUNK

It's 11:30am on Febuary 25th , Wednesday morning, and I'm walking on 75th & Madison in gym clothes while doing errands... I was suddenly stopped dead in my tracks by a jolly green giant!

Of course, I didn’t let my casual appearance stop me..I approached him immediately!

"So what are you 6"5, 6"7?" I asked him.

Surprised at my approach, he blushed and responded, "Close, but I'm 6"9!:

“And let me guess you never played hoops.”

“Actually I played pro in Spain where David Beckham played soccer, when  I was living in Europe .

"Is your wife tall," (knowing with my radar- he was single).

“I don’t have a wife.” Music to my ears!

Now feeling intrigued with the conversation I inquired as to what an incredibly, tall good- looking man does with his life. I gave him my card and he stopped dead in his tracks to read it.

“Are you one of those …what do you call them?

… a matchmaker?

I soon discovered that my very own "Michael Jordan" received his MBA at NYU, and has worked on Wall Street for over twenty years,  and just turned 60!  Many long relationships, but never married. Hmmmm….

Ladies if that's not enough for you..I can teach you the same radar I have; single – IVY-educated and rich – happens everytime!

Continuing my errands, with his business card in hand.. "I said to myself "Janis, you just got yourself another slam dunk!"
